The active ingredient of this preparation for oral administration is lyotyronine (T3). This artificially obtained analogue of triiodothyronine (structurally it is the left-handed isomer of triiodothyronine), identical to it in all properties. It has a pronounced therapeutic effect, and the maximum pharmacological effect after a single dose develops after two to three days.
T3-Max-25 is a working thyroid agent that can make up the deficiency of thyroid hormones in the body. With the correct reception, the effects of stimulation of growth and differentiation are observed, the level of basal metabolism (the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and fats) is significantly increased. In the case of normalized use, an anabolic and fat-burning effect is found.
Also, the effect of the drug can generally be on strengthening the body: a positive effect on the cardiovascular system, the nervous system, the work of the liver and kidneys, and the strengthening of energy processes.

Such a drug can be indirectly attributed to the number of powerful fat burners. For weight loss and general improvement in athletic form, it can be used not only by men, but also by female athletes. However, these pills are not recommended during pregnancy as part of complex treatment therapy and other tasks, as this can lead to fetal hypothyroidism.
For medical purposes, the permissible dosage of T3-Max-25 (liothyronine) may vary from 5 to 100 μg per day, depending on the indications. In general, the selection of doses for drug use should be approached individually, which is usually done.
When hypothyroid conditions, as a rule, appoint about 25 mcg per day, then, if necessary, this amount is increased (by 25 mcg per day) every few weeks, maintaining a dose – in the range of 25-75 mcg per day. In non-toxic goiter, the initial dosage is 5 μg per day, then increases by 5-10 μg every few weeks, maintaining a dose of 75 μg / day. With miksedem in turn, the initial dose is about 5 μg per day, and the final can reach up to 100 μg.
Side effects
Tachycardia and increased blood pressure (can be eliminated by beta-blockers), osteoporosis, nausea and diarrhea (can be eliminated by loperamide), agitation, insomnia, muscle tremor, dry mouth, sweating, heat.
Abuse of the thyroid gland decreases (it occurs with long courses and very high doses of thyroid hormones, and when recommended doses are used, the function is restored after 3-4 weeks).
Do not exclude allergic reactions, therefore, and to exclude contraindications, before the course is necessary to get advice from a specialist.
